SPATIAL DYNAMICS
FALL 2016
First, we were asked to download two 3D models and combine the two objects in which they would mesh together cohesively as one. After building the form, we rebuilt the surfaces by creating triangles on top of the contour lines of the form using the program Rhinoceros.
These triangles were grouped into strips, which was then printed with laser cutters. These triangular strips were glued with a printed texture ("texture map") to strengthen the form of the (gestalt metamorphosis) two objects.
